Embracing the theme "Neonatal Nursing: What's on the Horizon?" CANN 2020 will feature an impressive line-up of speakers, experts and leaders who will address today's emerging topics and trends that are forging the way to improved neonatal nursing care and newborn health. This two-day conference will include a combination of pre-conference workshops, general and concurrent sessions, poster presentations, an exhibit component, and a social program allowing plenty of time to network.

*NOTE: To receive the CANN MEMBER rates, you must be a current member of the Canadian Association of Neonatal Nurses (CANN). You can renew or apply for membership on the CANN website.
 
*NOTE: To receive the STUDENT rates, you must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate nursing program and you must submit proof of enrolment by email to info@neonatalcann.ca email or by fax to 613-721-3581.
 
All registration fees are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes (15% HST).
 
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Refunds of registration fees, less a $25 administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received by Friday, May 8, 2020. No refunds will be issued after this date. If you are unable to attend, you may substitute someone in your place. All cancellations and substitution requests must be received in writing. Refunds will be processed after the conference.

CANN Canadian Neonatal Nursing Certification Exam Preparation Workshop

This workshop will be a case-based learning opportunitiy incorporating the Canadian Neonatal Nursing Competencies to help support nurses preparing to write the Canadian Neonatal Nursing Specialty Certification Exam. Upon completion of the workshop, the learner will be able to identify gaps in knowledge and areas for further study.
 
This workshop is open to anyone interested in the opportunity to integrate current neonatal knowledge in an interactive and engaging format but does not replace exam preparation. Participants are expected to have previously studied all exam components (Exam Blueprint and Specialty Competencies) if planning to write the exam.
 
This workshop is open to anyone interested in neonatal education (do not need to be writing the exam).
 
NOTE: Participation in the workshop does not replace exam preparation, nor does it guarantee exam success.

Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) is located approximately 37 kilometres (about a half-hour drive) from downtown Halifax. Most taxi companies servicing the airport charge a flat rate of $65 to travel to the city.
